Rift Rogue Guide – Level Fast, Earn Gold, Master Professions & Dominate PvP and PvE
Here is a quick and short RIFT Rogue guide that will introduce you to the Rogue class in the brand new MMORPG called RIFT. If you haven’t already checked them out then you probably should, they are very cool and have adopted a kind of class order that puts together hunters, rogues, and other combat classes into one. I’ll explain a bit more below, let’s get into it.
Becoming a Rogue – what this allows you to do
As you become a Rogue in the game you will have a multitude of options. First, you can choose to be a melee specialist or a ranged one, which will pretty much decide your “subclass.” If you wanted to be a Hunter (or one who has mastered range combat,) then you will specialize in the Ranger subclass. If you wanted to stay melee and be stealthy and dynamic, you may choose Assassin, Nightblade, or a similar class. This provides you with a lot of different ways to enjoy your character.
Using leather, blades, and ranged weapons
Above you can see that you can be a hunter, regular melee rogue, or a mix of both. However, you will always be wearing leather, and your weapons will change based on what you’re doing. For example, you will probably want to be using light daggers and swords so that you are quick, but if you are a ranged damage dealer you will want a good bow or gun. The energy system is something that is very, very efficient, because you can’t really run out. It regenerates so quickly that you are practically always able to do what you want.
Leveling as a Rogue is the fastest method, probably, here’s why
Rogues never have to stop leveling. Some other classes need to stop and do things in order to survive, but generally rogues can just keep at it without ever stopping.
